In this role, you will provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure The ASEAN Post has the right operations and people in place to effectively produce world-class journalism for digital, and emerging platforms.
About the Role
- Partner with the executive leadership to develop and execute the strategies necessary to grow and evolve TAP’s all editorial platforms.
- Oversee editorial and branded events , as needed.
- Refining cross-functional editorial processes within the department and across other departments, always identifying areas for improvement and streamlining.
- Keeping track of content output and performance.
- Facilitating an editorial development series and team trainings.
- Managing editorial administrative needs such as editorial subscriptions, software & tools, user management, contracts, etc.
- Owning the content team’s budgeting process and one-off tasks as far as setting planning meetings, suggesting solutions, owning and delivering completed documents, and liaising with the finance team on details.
- Acting as editorial lead for any changes to the CMS, or other management systems.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5+ years’ experience at a senior level managing people, strategy, and hands-on execution.
- Proven track record of building strong working relationships with colleagues and teams across an organization.
- Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with and enthusiasm for quality journalism, digital platforms, news revenue models, and operations is strongly desired.
- Experience project managing editorial initiatives.
- Proven expertise and knowledge in the latest digital trends, technology, and best practices for editorial, commerce content etc.
